Betty (aka Daisy)
As a puppy, Betty (called Daisy by her foster family) was in a home with over 80 dogs. Betty was at the shelter for 9 months and has now been with her foster family for two. Since leaving the shelter, Betty is learning to trust people. She walks very well on a leash, right beside her person, but is still afraid of loud noises. She likes to have a safe space in her kennel to retreat if her surroundings get too loud or busy. When the home is quiet she comes out to find some loves from her people!
Bella
I’m Bella and I am super dog friendly (voted Miss Popular at doggy daycare)! I know how to site and love to give kisses. I’ve done well with kids in the past and, well frankly, the staff at the shelter just love me. I’ve been so well behaved that I’ve been out to several mobile adoption events too. I’m just waiting for you!
Tank
Tank is a spirited boy who loves to play in the pool and run around with his friends. With his strong build and energetic personality, he’s always up for a game of tug-of-war or a sprint around the yard. Tank’s playful enthusiasm and love for adventure make him a fun and lively companion, bringing excitement and joy wherever he goes.
Scrappy
Hello, my name is Scrappy! I’m a young dog looking for the right forever home. I’m medium to large sized and while I have some puppy energy and get the zoomies, I mostly want your attention. I love to sit by my humans and get plenty of love and pets. I am heartworm positive, but don’t let this deter you- there are multiple treatment methods and once treated, I can go on to live a normal life like most dogs. Please come visit me today.
Houdini
Houdini is a dog who you have to get to know for him to be playful. Initially reserved and cautious, Houdini’s true playful nature shines once he feels comfortable and secure. With a bit of patience and understanding, you’ll discover a fun-loving and affectionate companion who loves to engage in games and share joyful moments.
Kendall
I initially came in with my sister (Kylie). Although I am on the larger size, I firmly identify as a lap dog. I know how to sit. I enjoy sunbathing. My favorite thing to do is get scratches from humans.
Deuce
Hi there! I’m Deuce. I’m a really happy guy who loves other dogs, playing in the water (usually a kiddie play pool) and just being around you. I’ve been at the shelter since August 2024 and am SO ready to hang out with you at home and go on adventures together!
Tommy
Hi, my name is Tommy. I am a lab mix that was found with lots and lots of brothers and sisters. So needless to say, I do really well with other dogs. I enjoy time outdoors with toys especially a squeaky toy. I do well with kids. I am a shy but loving boy.
Cashew
Meet Cashew, the wild and wonderful dog with a crazy personality! Cashew is full of energy and always keeps everyone on their toes with his playful antics and boundless enthusiasm. Whether he’s zooming around the yard, chasing his tail, or coming up with new ways to entertain himself, Cashew’s spirited nature is sure to bring laughter and joy to everyone around him. His quirky behavior and lovable charm make him a unique and unforgettable companion.
Brownie
Brownie is a 3 year old pit bull mix who came to the shelter in September 2024. She is a sweetheart who is loved by the shelter staff and volunteers and she loves them back. She’s also won the hearts of the firefighters at the station next door to the shelter!
Princess
My name is Princess, I am a staff favorite! I tend to be very quiet but can warm up to you with some time and patience. In fact, once I get to know you, the only thing I want to do is lay my head on your arm. If you are looking for a calm, cool, low energy companion… I’m your girl!
Torri
Hello, my name is Torri! I am a 2-year-old small German shepherd mix. I am a playful pup who enjoys playing fetch and being outside. I am VERY playful with people, but I prefer to be the only dog in my house. If you are looking for a small, high-energy dog I’m your girl!
Buffy
Hi, I’m Buffy, but I’m no vampire slayer! I’m only 3 years old and I have a special talent with my amazing ears. See, in the picture, I can be very expressive and tell you exactly how happy I am with those ears.
